Dear Patients, Colleagues and Friends:
It is with unfathomable sadness that I share the news of our Executive Director, Ed Higgins’ passing. After a long illness, Ed passed peacefully at home October 8, 2017.
Ed was a legend in his field and was a walking encyclopedia of knowledge regarding medication-assisted treatment. His passion and empathy for others was endless, and the number of lives that Ed touched and saved goes unmeasured. He was an incredible leader, mentor and friend.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Ed’s family, especially his 9 grandchildren who were the light of his life.
With warmest regards,
Maggie Rizzo and the Staff of JSAS HealthCare, Inc.
